Discover the restored Ottoman Mausoleum of Ruqayya Dudu, distinct from her famous Sabil-Kuttab in Suq al-Silah.
Historical Overview
Built in 1757 CE (1171 AH). This independent mausoleum dome in the Minor Qarafa is distinct from Ruqayya Dudu's famous Sabil-Kuttab (CAI-144). In 2023, the monument was carefully dismantled and relocated approximately 30 meters from its original spot to protect it from rising groundwater, undergoing a full restoration.
