Historical Overview
Built in 1450 CE (854 AH), this Circassian Mamluk monument consists of a funerary dome and associated residential units (tabaq). It is entirely distinct from the much older Fatimid 'Seven Domes' located in Old Cairo.
Why Visit?
An excellent example of a combined Mamluk funerary and residential structure in the Eastern Cemetery.
