Historical Overview
Built between 1506 and 1508 CE (912-914 AH) by Sultan Qansuh al-Ghuri. This Mamluk mosque follows a cruciform madrasa plan and includes the mausoleum of Sheikh Abd al-Qadir al-Dashtuti in its northeastern corner.
