Historical Overview

Constructed in 1174 CE (569 AH) by Sultan Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi (Saladin). This historic bathhouse (hammam) is an independent archaeological monument and should not be confused with the nearby Khanqah Sa'id al-Su'ada (CAI-153).
