Historical Overview

Built between 1419 and 1420 CE (822-823 AH) by Abd al-Basit bin Khalil al-Shafi'i. Officially registered as monument No. 60, this cruciform madrasa with four iwans also includes an attached sabil and kuttab as part of a single architectural complex.
