Historical Overview

Built in 1427 CE (831 AH) by Janibak al-Ashrafi al-Dawadar. This independent mausoleum is located in the Eastern Mamluk Cemetery and should not be confused with his separate mosque/madrasa (al-Janbakiya) located in Historic Cairo.
