Historical Overview

Built between 1505 and 1507 CE (911-913 AH) by Amir Qurqumas Min Wali al-Din. Also known as Jami' Amir Kabir, this expansive Mamluk complex includes a mosque, khanqah, funerary dome, sabil, and kuttab. It is distinctly separate from the relocated individual Qubbat Qurqumas (CAI-226).
