Historical Overview

Constructed in 1474 CE (879 AH) by Sultan al-Ashraf Qaytbay. Officially registered as a distinct monument (Reg. 412) apart from his main mosque, this multi-purpose structure is also known by its alias, Bayt al-Jundi.
