Publishing responsibility

The TrueCost team publishes traveler guidance. The Data & Research team leads review of pricing and data methodology, with freshness and confidence context shown where the evidence supports it.

Sources

We prefer official sources for official prices and distinguish them from market observations, benchmarks and modelled estimates. Estimates are not presented as guaranteed facts.

Review

Content is reviewed when sources change, fresher evidence becomes available, or a credible correction is received. Data dates and freshness matter more than the article publication date alone.

Corrections

If you find an incorrect price or travel fact, send the page URL, the corrected information and its source to hello@truecostegypt.com. We review the evidence and update the record or content when supported.

Independence

TrueCost is designed to help travelers evaluate cost clearly. A more expensive option should not be recommended merely because it would generate more revenue for the platform.
