Current published admission is 340 EGP for foreign adults and 170 EGP for foreign students, while Egyptian admission is 20 EGP for adults and 10 EGP for students. The museum holds one of the world's largest collections of Islamic artifacts, covering periods and regions across the Islamic world and including carved wood, ceramics, manuscripts, textiles, metalwork and scientific instruments.
